This month we’re focusing on finishing off the 2018-2019 year with a lot of fun. We’ve been spending a lot of time learning through play. We’ve had several park days this month as well as some wonderful field trips. We’ve been to both Chocolate World and Let’s Pretend which were both hits with our students.
Upcoming Events:
May 22 Field trip to Chuck E Cheese
May 24 End of year picnic at Reservoir Park, 11am – 1pm
May 31 Last student day and graduation, 11am – 1pm
We encourage all steering committee members and volunteers to attend both the end of year picnic and our graduation event.
Our students will be participating in a play based on the book, “We’re Going on a Bear Hunt” before the graduation ceremony begins.
We feel as though both of these events will be a great opportunity for family outreach and for providing parents with information about the summer program as well as the 2019-2020 school year.
As always we look forward to serving the community with you and are excited to start preparing for the next school year.
