Do you charge tuition?

What is my donation used for?
The Preschool curriculum is inspired by “Constructivist” priciples which hold that children learn best by doing. Our teachers aim to provide a stimulating environment that inspires children to ask questios and become active learners. Your donation will go toward supplies to provide a challenging and fun environment such as: creative arts, dramatic play, sensory play, manipulatives, science, literature, music & movement.

Do you provide childcare before or after school?
Not at this time. For the fall semester beginning August 19 the Trinity Preschool will operate from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm, Monday through Friday.

When does your semester begin and end for the fall and spring?
Trinity Preschool follows the Harrisburg School District schedule for the first and last days of both the fall and spring semesters.
For the 2024-25 school year, classes begin on Monday, August 26, 2024 and end on Friday, May 30, 2025

What holidays are the school closed?
Trinity Preschool generally follows the holiday schedule for the Harrisburg School District (this does not include teacher in-service days).
For the 2024-25 school year the Preschool will be closed for the following holidays/In-service days:
- August 26 — First Student Day
- September 2 — Closed (Labor Day)
- September 27 — Closed (Teacher In-Service)
- October 14 — Closed (Indigenous Peoples’ Day)
- November 5 — Closed (Election Day)
- November 11 — Closed (Veterans Day)
- November 27-29 — Closed (Thanksgiving Break)
- December 24-27, 30, 31 — Closed (Winter Break)
- January 1-3 — Closed (Winter Break)
- January 20 — Closed (Martin Luther King Day)
- February 7 — Closed (Teacher In-Service)
- February 17 — Closed (Presidents’ Day)
- March 31 — Closed (Eid al Fitr)
- April 1 — Closed (Teacher In-Service)
- April 16-18, 21 — Closed (Spring Break)
- May 26 — Closed (Memorial Day)
- May 30 — Last Student Day
- June 19 — Closed (Juneteenth Holiday)

Does my child need to be toilet trained?
Yes. All children must be fully toilet trained and in underwear (no pull-ups) prior to being enrolled in the Trinity Preschool.

Does my child have to be immunized?
Yes. In accordance with instructions from the Department of Human Services, our facility we may not accept or retain a child at the facility for more than 60 days following the first day of attendance at the facility unless the parent provides written verification from a physician, physician’s assistant, CRNP, the Department of Health or a local health department of the dates (month, day and year) the child was administered immunization in accordance with the recommendations of the ACIP (Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices).
